Big Tree Plant Bristol – Be a Part of it

School children and Forest of Avon Trust staff plant trees

At the end of last year the Government launched The Big Tree Plant, a national campaign to plant 1 million trees over 4 years.

The campaign is focused on community based tree planting in streets and other publicly accessible or beneficial green spaces. The Forest of Avon Trust are working in partnership with TreeBristol (Bristol City Council) and the Woodland Trust to apply for a grant to plant up to 4,000 trees in streets and green spaces, also creating up to 4 new mini-woodlands across Bristol.

To help the success of the bid please email your support to emma.whitaker@forestofavontrust.org by 22nd August.

If you have suggestions for new tree planting locations, want to help with planting or maintaining the trees, please email Emma and we will be in touch once the funding has been secured.
