The Forest of Avon Trust is a local charity to get many more trees planted in and around Bristol and to work with people across the area to do this. We provide advice and free trees, deliver projects, champion the benefits of local trees and support the management of woodlands. This work will make a huge difference to the area and beyond, now and in the future.

Text a Tree
Making a positive contribution to the environment could not be simpler. Just text FOAT33 to 70070 and we will supply a native tree/ shrub, guard and cane direct to a local community to plant and improve the local area. We have teamed up with JustTextGiving so all of your contribution comes to us, plus 25% Gift Aid, if you opt for this.
Dedicate a Tree
For £10 you can celebrate a loved one & help look after trees in a local community woodland: Oke Park Wood, Brentry; Overscourt Wood, Siston; & Manor Road Community Woodland, Keynsham. We send you/ the recipient a personal dedication certificate & record all messages in our book of dedication. Download & send us the Tree Dedication Form with a cheque, or call with details & pay on line.
Free Trees
We provide free trees to schools and community groups to improve the local area. This is a great way to bring communities together and making a lasting contribution to quality of life. A donation of £20 provides 10 free trees & guards, as well as tree care advice. Alternatively, it provides a 1.5 metre quality apple or pear for a community orchard.
Garden Forest
We identify residential areas with low tree cover and work with community groups to contact residents to promote the benefits of trees and offer a free tree for garden planting. A donation of £20 provides 10 free trees & planting guidance. The Garden Forest galvanises local action, leading to more planting in the areas we work in.
Become a Friend
If you want to directly support our work, then please join us as a Friend. You will also receive a range of unique benefits: a free tree/ shrub, free Tree Dedication, tree planting advice & regular publications. Family rates start at £3/ month. Schools, groups & local councils can join as corporate sponsors (£3/ month for each 4 members of the management committee). Join the Friends Scheme Pro Forma. Business Sponsor
Why not express your commitment to CSR where your business, staff and/ or customers are based? From a contribution of £200 a year, you will be linked in to the website front page & we will also donate 20 free trees/ 2 fruit trees on your behalf. Alternatively, you can combine a contribution with any of our schemes to enhance your CSR & local marketing. Future Woods
