Nothing could better benefit the environment and wider quality of life for those in the Bristol, Bath and West of England area than leaving a legacy to plant a new woodland, or care for/ improve existing ones as well as the public access to them. A new woodland lasts for hundreds of years, provides huge & lasting benefits and its name lives on through Ordnance Survey mapping and the conversations of local people.
Alternatively, a legacy or gift could underpin our Woodland Wellbeing activities for local people experiencing disadvantage or get more young people understanding the importance of the environment and taking action to care for it.
Leaving a legacy to the Trust makes a recognisable difference to the charity and a huge difference on the ground. To discuss legacies, please call our Executive Director, Alex Stone via alex.stone@forestofavontrust.org
The Forest of Avon Trust is extremely grateful to the late Mr. Cottrell for including our charity in his recent Will. This has enabled us to expand our work to plant and care for native woodland in the Forest of Avon.
