You can directly support our campaigns, projects and activities by becoming a Friend from just £3/ month.

Joining Is Easy

Set up a regular monthly donation of £3 or more.

In return for a monthly donation of £3 or more you will receive:

  • Regular e-news
  • A free tree dedication and certificate with your message to you or a nominee
  • Opportunities to volunteer to care for woods or plant trees

Supporting our Work

By becoming a Friend, you directly support our work; over the last year this has included: 

  • Working with 22 schools to plant 10 orchards and 4,000 trees in their grounds; 
  • Running Woodland Wellbeing activities for adults with learning disabilities, people with mental health needs, people with dementia & young people with behavioural needs; 
  • Undertaking the iTree Bristol study quantifying the environmental benefits of Bristol's trees & influencing local tree policy;  
  • Achieving a total of 850ha woodland with management plans, delivering improved biodiversity and other benefits to the local area;  
  • Further improving The Retreat community woodland through coppicing & thinning and ride maintenance;
  • Erecting a footbridge to improve the Community Forest Path, a middle distance walking & running route around Bristol;
  • Improving footpath signage between Lyde Green and Overscourt Wood, improving recreational opportunities for new residents.
