Staff Days

Staff Days

Our unique woodland 'Staff Away Day' experiences are a great way to build a team, enhance their wellbeing and reward your staff. Our activity leaders are all experienced and Forest School trained. We pride ourselves on the quality of the activities and making them work for all involved. We offer full and half-days focused on: Forest Bathing, Woodland Sports, Nature Art and one which we design with you to combine aspects of all three. Read on for details.

We offer 'Away Days' for between 8-30 staff, although exact numbers depend on the site and activity.

Your options are:

Forest Bathing

A lovely way to care for your staff and do your bit for workplace mental wellbeing. Take time out from the stresses of work and learn simple techniques to relax in nature. From Forest Bathing to mindfulness, you’ll use your senses to explore the woods and leave feeling calm and relaxed. For up to 25 people.

Half Day We'll ensure you have a restful morning or afternoon connecting with nature and experiencing the woods in a new way, taking away ideas for how to look after your mental wellbeing. Half-day sessions are ideal for combining with office-based team meetings.

Day A full day of Forest Bathing activities where you can immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the woods. From mindful walks to pair work you’ll be using all your senses to explore the woods and connect with nature. The day includes hot drinks and snacks on the fire (please bring a packed lunch).

Woodland Sports

A sports day with a difference! Make and play your own woodland games in the relaxing environment of the woods. It's good for mental and physical wellbeing and great for helping people to work together and get to know each other. Your woodland sports day (or half day) will be followed by a snack by the fire and a chance to unwind.

Half day A fun packed morning or afternoon playing traditional and modern team games with a special woodland twist to suit your group.

Day Make and play a range of woodland games such as smite, hoopla and woodland kerplunk. Our experienced leaders will guide you, using simple hand tools to make your own games to take back to work. The day includes hot drinks and snacks on the fire (please bring a packed lunch).

Nature Art

Help your staff reveal their creative side in the beautiful and relaxing environment of the woods. Our experienced leaders will guide you through a range of environmental art and craft activities that are achievable for anyone. For up to 15 people.

Half day Spend a morning or afternoon exploring the woods to think about colour, texture and form. Take part in simple art activities to relax and inspire.
