Course Description

This is an introductory 2-day course to explore the Forest School approach and lots of activities you can use straight away with groups.

This course is designed to give an insight into Forest School principals and an understanding of its benefits. Over the 2 planned sessions you will explore and experience a range of activities and games which you can use with your groups straight away to develop your own outdoor setting.

These skills will help you to engage with the outdoor environment and use it as a tool to facilitate learning.

This course is suitable for anyone that is currently working with groups and wants to develop outdoor nature based activities. It is also suitable for anyone that wants to explore the experience of Forest School and is interested in developing this as a new practice. No prior experience required.
