The Forest of Avon Plan

The Forest of Avon Plan

On Wednesday 9th June 2021, working together with the West of England Nature Partnership, we launched The Forest of Avon Plan: A Tree and Woodland Strategy for the West of England.

The Plan is launched and endorsed through the West of England Nature Partnership. The Plan was launched at an event with the West of England Combined Authority Mayor, Dan Norris, as part of the Festival of Nature, as pictured above with partners from many of our partners.

The West of England Nature Partnership includes the Woodland Trust, Avon Wildlife Trust, Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) council, North Somerset Council, West of England Combined Authority, Wessex Water, Natural England, National Trust, Environment Agency, NHS, Bristol Water, Local Enterprise Partnership, Bristol Avon Catchment Partnership, Natural History Consortium and National Farmers Union and many other groups and charities.
